PURPOSE: A mail sender-oriented mail informing system and a method thereof are provided to enable a receiver receiving the mail sender-oriented mail informing service to easily confirm a mail and enable the receiver to confirm the main even if the receiver has no mail address received from the system of a sender. CONSTITUTION: The first connection server(10) processes connection of the users connected through the first network. The second connection server(20) processes the connection of the users connected through the second network. The first mail server(30) transmits/receives the mail of the users connected through the first network. For a mail transmission request of the user, the first mail server transmits the mail to a receiver mail address received from the user and receives/transfers a receiver number corresponding to the receiver mail address for providing a mail informing message. The second mail server(40) transmits/receives the mail of the users connected through the second network. An informing server(50) transmits the mail informing message to a receiver terminal(320) corresponding to the receiver number transmitted from the first mail server.
