<p>A bicycle brake mechanism includes a brake operating lever (21), a first and a second brake calipers (1,2) pivotably supported on a bicycle frame, a control cable (5) having one end thereof connected to the brake operating lever, and the other end connected to the first brake caliper (1), a connecting element (7) for engaging the control cable to be movable along the control cable, a tension element (9) for interconnecting the second brake caliper (2) and the connecting element (7), and a supporter (8) disposed between the connecting element and the first brake caliper for maintaining a predetermined distance between the connecting element and a point at which the first brake caliper engages the control cable. <IMAGE></p> |
