PURPOSE: A method for updating an execution code of a terminal using a wireless network is provided to use a change of a NAND flash at a desired position without storing code information received from an upgrade server, connected with a wireless network, at a separate flash memory space, thereby promptly performing software update. CONSTITUTION: If power is inputted to a terminal(10), an execution code and an update performing code stored in a NAND flash memory area of a memory are duplicated to a DRAM memory area(401). The terminal(10) transmits/receives a signal to update software to/from an OTA(Over The Air) server(50), and receives software update code data from the OTA server(50) to store the software update code data at an update data buffer area(402-406). The software update code data are duplicated to the NAND flash memory area(407). The terminal(10) resets the terminal after completing download of the software update code data, and executes the updated code data(407-411). |
