The system to enrich the oxygen content of the combustion air, at the air intake (12) of an internal combustion motor (10), has a membrane (18) where one side (22) is linked to the air intake and the other side (20) is open to the ambient atmosphere. A setting unit (16a) determines the difference in pressure at the sides of the membrane. The membrane has a higher permeability for oxygen than for nitrogen, and preferably only allows oxygen to pass through it, with a lower pressure on the motor intake side than at the air flow side.
|
