PURPOSE: A reciprocating compressor is provided to secure a discharge valve formed as a valve body of a disk shape without a support structure supporting the discharge valve. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating compressor comprises a compression part(120) compressing a refrigerant and a driving part(110) driving the compression part. The reciprocating compressor has a suction valve(124) installed to the compression part to suck the refrigerant into a cylinder, and a discharge valve(125) discharging the refrigerant. The discharge valve is formed as a valve body of a disk shape.
