PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a metal corrugated pipe is provided to improve the precision in shape of the metal corrugated pipe by reducing a height difference between corrugated portions of the metal corrugated pipe. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a metal corrugated pipe comprises an inside tool for forming an expansion space between inner and outer peripheral portions of a metal pipe. The inside tool deforms the metal pipe outwardly by applying a fluid pressure. A sealing device is provided to seal the expansion space formed in the metal pipe. A plurality of shape plates are arranged in an axis direction of the metal pipe. The shape plates are opened and closed at a vertical direction with respect to the axis of the metal pipe. An opening/closing unit is provided to vertically open/close the shape plates. An interval maintaining unit is provided to constantly maintain the interval between the shape plate. A corrugated portion protruded between the shape plates is pressed in the axis direction by a pressing device. The shape plates and the metal pipe are conveyed through a conveying device.
