PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic composition for skin whitening. A small amount of the composition displays excellent skin whitening effect and has aging stability and less skin stimulation. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition for skin whitening is characterized by containing 0.00001-2.0 wt.% of resveratrol. It further contains 0.1-50 wt.% of aqueous mixed whitening composition. The cosmetic composition displays more excellent skin whitening effect than kojic acid, albutin and the like.
