PURPOSE: An anionic/nonionic emulsified asphalt composition for use of waste asphalt concrete(ascon) as aggregates is provided, which improves adhesion of asphalt mixtures, shortens curing time and prevents cracking. CONSTITUTION: The anionic/nonionic emulsified asphalt composition is prepared by the following steps of: mixing 2.3-4.8wt.% of surfactant, 47.8wt.% of water and 38.3wt.% of asphalt having 80-100(or 110-130) of penetration, and stirring mixtures at a high rate of 6000rpm (A); adding 9.1wt.% of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) as a stabilizer and stirring slowly (B). Also, another emulsified asphalt comprises 2.3-4.8wt.% of surfactant, 48.6-49.5wt.% of water, 44.3-45.2wt.% of asphalt having 80-100(or 110-130) and 3.0wt.% of PVA. The surfactant consist of 2-4wt.% of anionic surfactant and 0.3-2.8wt.% of nonionic surfactant, wherein the anionic surfactants are sodium lauryl sulfate, naphthalene sulfonic acid, formaldehyde condensates, chlorobenzene derivatives, etc., and the nonionic emulsifiers are polyoxyethylene alkyl ether derivatives, polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether, polyoxyethylene alkylamine derivatives, etc.
