A method and an apparatus of playing an interactive game by more than one player, with each player controlling a character in the game. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of identifying an action being exerted on a first character by another character in the game, generating a force corresponding to the action exerted, and applying the force to the first player who controls the first character in the game.
