PURPOSE: A dependant basement wall supported to a protecting structure is provided to secure safety and to reduce the cost and time required for construction by excluding the installation of an earth anchor or a strut by supporting the dependant basement wall to a protecting structure. CONSTITUTION: The dependant basement wall supported to a protecting structure comprises: the existing protecting structure(1) of the pre-constructed underground structure; a dependant underground wall(2) and a cap beam(3) supported to the existing protecting structure(1); a cap beam(3) installed on the upper end of the dependant underground wall(2); a steel plate provided with a bolt hole perforated along the cap beam(3); a bolt installed on the cap beam(3); and a pipe sleeve, a steel wire(11), a washer(10) and a wire cone(9) unifying the cap beam(3) with the existing wall(5) of the protecting structure(1) by tensile force of a hydraulic jack.
