PURPOSE: An apparatus for exhausting gas of fermentative food is provided to smoothly ferment kimchi and improve the flavor of kimchi by smoothly exhausting fermentation gas of kimchi and preventing the contact of kimchi and air. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for exhausting the gas of fermentative food is composed of a vertical pipe(10) installed vertically at the inner center of a fermentation vessel(1) and having a hollow portion inside, and a check valve(20) installed at the upper part of the vertical pipe. The top and bottom of the vertical pipe is opened and closed, respectively. A plurality of through holes(11) are formed at both side walls of the vertical pipe, and communicate the hollow portion with the outside. The check valve exhausts gas in the vertical pipe, and prevents outside air from being introduced into the inside of the vertical pipe.
