The trap has a case (1) comprising a lateral opening and an outlet orifice (3). A conical nozzle (4) is mounted on the orifice. A section of passage of the nozzle is slightly higher than size of an animal to be trapped. A detector (7) presents a detection angle of about 15 degrees and is placed at half length of lateral wall of the case. An aspirator is connected to the nozzle by a tube. An independent claim is also included for a trapping process implementing a trap.
