PURPOSE: A method for displaying on-line time information of a wireless Internet is provided to obtain user's own information while a user checks the wireless Internet connection lapse time by adding a time information additional function in a browser menu and displaying a current time and the wireless Internet connection lapse time. CONSTITUTION: A current connection time and the total connection time are simultaneously counted by connecting to a wireless Internet(S21,S22). If a user of a portable information terminal operates a functional key button of the portable information terminal and selects a current time information menu in a wireless Internet connection state(S23), the portable information terminal displays a lower menu of the current time information menu on the wireless Internet(S24). If the user selects a current time menu(S25), the portable information terminal displays a current time(S26). If the user selects a current connection time menu, the portable information terminal displays a wireless Internet connection lapse time(S26).
