PURPOSE: A method for comparing a 2D(Dimensional) CAD(Computer Aided Design) file by a graphic method is provided to simply and quickly check a detail difference for an item frequently modified/added through many processes. CONSTITUTION: The first 2D CAD file received from a user is opened, and all elements of the first 2D CAD file are set to red color and are stored in a virtual memory(S210). The second 2D CAD file received from the user is opened, and all elements of the second 2D CAD file are set to cyan color and are stored in the virtual memory(S220). The common elements of the first and the second 2D CAD file are set to white and are stored in the virtual memory(S230). The first and the second 2D CAD file stored in the virtual memory, and all elements including the common elements of the first and the second 2D CAD file are displayed on a screen(S250).
