PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector having a member preventing wrong insertion by accurately connecting the electric connector to an objective connector. SOLUTION: THe electric connector comprises an insulating body; a plurality of terminals accommodated in the insulating body; and a shade cover for covering the insulating body. The shade cover covers the insulating body and has a member for preventing wrong insertion extending from an outer surface to the outside. The member for preventing wrong insertion can be correspondingly accommodated in the objective connector.
