PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber which has a good hand as a raw material for clothing and exhibits effective functions as a raw material for non-clothing. SOLUTION: A fiber is characterized by having ten or more grooves on the surface of the fiber in its longitudinal direction, having a groove width of≤1.0μm, a groove depth of≥2.0μm, and an intergroove outer peripheral distance of≤5.0μm, having an irregular shape primary uneven structure formed on the whole surface of the fiber, and further having secondary uneven structures formed in the primary uneven structure.
