BORON CATCHING MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catching material capable of removing and recovering boron with a high capacity at a high speed while holding a high permeability of a liquid containing boron by giving a graft (grafting) polymer chain, having a catching function of boron, in high density to the surface of a fiber constituting a non-woven fiber or a hollow fiber. SOLUTION: A boron catching material possessing a substrate constituted of a non-reactive material against boron and a graft polymer chain supported by the substrate has a feature that the graft polymer chain is prepared by graft polymerization of a polymeric monomer containing a functional group having a boron catching function.
