PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device with which a user can easily photograph a square object and a rectangular object without distortion. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal monitor 36 displays additional lines comprising two sets of parallel straight lines wherein one set of the parallel straight lines is orthogonal to the other set of the parallel straight lines together with an object image in the case of imaging. The straight lines of the additional lines located to upper / lower and / or left / right with respect to center lines are controlled symmetrically movable at the same time with respect to the center lines.
