PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to optionally select an input operation of a password for releasing an operation restriction even in a device with a limited operation key. SOLUTION: This terminal comprises a control part 32 for storing a plurality of key input patterns, selectively setting one of the stored key input patterns, comparing a pattern key-inputted in a key input part 36 with the set key input pattern, and releasing the operation restriction based on the comparison result.
