PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulation type coin paying/receiving machine for executing the supplying operation of coins and the collecting/storing operation of coins without making it necessary to supply coins by one coin storage cassette 59. SOLUTION: The whole amounts of coins stored in a coin storing part 86 of a coin storage cassette 59 are ejected, and the whole amounts of ejected coins are received by a carriage conveyer means 58. The whole amounts of coins received by the carriage conveyer means 58 are conveyed to a supply carrier system 111, and supplied through the supply carrier system 111 to a coin storing/ejecting device 57 classified by denomination. The coins whose supply to the coin storing/ejecting device 57 classified by denomination is not necessary are collected and stored through the supply carrier system 111 in the coin collecting part 86 of the coin storage cassette 59. Sensors 105a and 105b detect that the amounts of coins stored in the coin storing part 86 of the coin storage cassette 59 is the upper limit level of supplied coins and the upper limit level of collected coins including not only the supplied coins but also the coins collected from the coin storing/ejecting device 57 classified by denomination.
