PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing supporting board, which improves the appearance and execution of work. SOLUTION: The external facing supporting board 10 comprises a fixing part 15 which is to be fixed to a structure body 11, projecting parts 16 supported by the fixing part 15 and projecting to go away from the structure body 11, a positioning face 18 which positions the back face 17 of the external facing board 12 so that the back face is apart from the structure body 11 by 5 mm or more, and an upper end nail 20 extending downward to engage with the upper end 19 of the external facing board 12. The supporting board 10 also has a cut-and-raised strip 21, which is formed on the positioning face 18 to be able to elastically come in contact with the back face 17 of the external facing board 12 and is cut and raised in such a way that the upper part of the cut-and-raised strip 21 is further separated from the positioning face 18 toward the external facing board 12 than the lower part to make a sloped surface.
