PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method capable of preventing the occurrence of water leakage and rust by filling the gaps between steel plates in welding of the steel plates to each other. SOLUTION: The method for welding the steel plates 10 and 10 to each other comprises performing joining by holding a sheet body 15 composed of an unvulcanized resin body between a pair of the steel plates and subjecting the surfaces of the steel plates to spot welding.
