PURPOSE: A rotor of an induction motor having an improved driving characteristic is provided to protect a rotor wire when an overload is applied or a slip is increased at a start-up. CONSTITUTION: A rotor of an induction motor includes an auxiliary rotor(1) implemented in an radial formation. The auxiliary rotor is made by forming a plurality of laminated silicon substrates in order to minimize a hysteresis loss. A wire is sound around the auxiliary rotor for two or three times and a terminal of the wire is grounded on a front portion of the auxiliary rotor.
