<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereophonic signal processing method, a device, a program, and a storage medium for performing frequency band division of two channel stereo signals in which a plurality of acoustic signals to be generated on the basis of a plurality of sounds coming from a plurality of sound sources of the sounds like voice, music, and environmental sound are mixed and emphasizing a sound source signal localized at the center by using power ratio of the signals of right and left channels to which the frequency band division is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The method for processing two channel acoustic signal which is processed for stereo sound pickup or stereo reproduction includes: a process for dividing the stereo signals into a plurality of frequency components for each of the right and left channels; a process for calculating the power ratio of the right and left channels for each frequency component; a process for adding right and left components for each frequency component in accordance with the power ratio and multiplying an addition result by a level adjustment coefficient; a process for recombining each frequency component signal for each of the right and left channels; and a process for outputting a recombined signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
