<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium which enables high-gloss and high-image-quality printing, and which has a scratchproof gloss surface. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording medium, at least one ink receiving layer is provided on a substrate; a 20° surface gloss of the ink receiving layer is set at 20% or more; at least hydrated alumina and an organic high polymer are mixed together in the ink receiving layer as an outermost surface layer; and the mixing ratios of the organic high polymer to the hydrated alumina in the ink receiving layer are different from each other on a surface part and in an inside part; and the mixing ratio, in the inside part, of the organic high polymer to the hydrated alumina in the ink receiving layer is made higher than the mixing ratio on the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
