<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the transmission of bit streams within a predetermined delay time in a communication path in which a plurality of transmission/reception terminals perform time-division multiplex transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A spread spectrum communication system is constituted so as to include the plurality of transmission/reception terminals connected to a radio network, and a control terminal for transmitting control signals for assigning a transmission time to the transmission/reception terminals. In this system, a designated terminal designated by a control signal transmitted from the control terminal spreads a bitstream with a predetermined spread code and transmits the bitstreame, a signal detecting means detects a signal existing in a frequency band thereof, and a request signal transmitting means transmits a transmission permission of subsequent packetized continuous data when a signal having correlation with the spread code is not detected to perform continuous transmission of video information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
