摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra-micro-reflector structure provided with a non-resin layer and an ultra fine roughened surface and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The reflector structure is provided with a reflector metal layer, a scattering means provided with the roughened surface and one ITO layer and the roughened surface is provided with a plurality of ultra micro projecting lumps rising and falling. The reflector structure is combined with a reflective or a partially reflective liquid crystal display to be optimized and makes the scattering angle of a light source further wide and further uniform. Variation of a liquid crystal cell gap of the display is considerably reduced and reflected light efficiency is held within the optimum designed value. The reflector structure has a comparatively large scattering angle, a gentle effect and a satisfactory anti-glare effect. The manufacturing method of the reflector is simple, the material of the roughened surface is inexpensive and the reflector is durable to high temperature as compared with the reflector using an organic material since an inorganic thin film step is utilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
