<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile customizing assistance method rendering assistance for facilitating setting and change of characteristics by a user oneself, its system and automobile receiving customizing assistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the automobile customizing assistance method, a maker system 20 obtains an information (vehicle discrimination information 14) indicating a kind of vehicle (name of vehicle, driving system, etc.) of the automobile 2 from the automobile 2. An item capable of being customized in the automobile 2 and its range are specified at a settable position determination part 22 and a settable range determination part 23 by the obtained information. Further, the specified item and its range are transmitted to an on-vehicular computer 10 of the automobile 2.
