LOWER BODY STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lower body structure of a vehicle capable of improving safety and driveability while improving the rigidity of the lower body and keeping lightweight structure by composing the backbone of the upper and lower twin structure of an upper tunnel member and a lower tunnel member by providing the upper tunnel member on the top end inside a cabin of the tunnel part and by providing the lower tunnel member on the lower part outside the cabin of the tunnel part.

SOLUTION: The lower body structure of the vehicle is equipped with the tunnel part 6 projecting in the direction of the inside of the cabin and extending to the longitudinal direction at the center of the width direction of a floor panel 2. The upper tunnel member 19 extending to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle along the tunnel part 6 and forming a closed cross section 20 is provided on the top end inside the cabin of the tunnel part 6. The lower tunnel member 25 extending to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle along the tunnel part 6 and forming a closed cross section 24 is provided at the lower part outside the cabin of the tunnel part 6.
