PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file recording apparatus and a file recording method which is adopted for a video camera for recording an imaging result by a file of e.g., the QT format to avoid a deterioration in the user-friendliness for editing work or the like to the utmost thereby recording the file of the QT format or the like for a long time even when a memory with a small capacity is in use.
