PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component in which a glass-ceramic composite composition is used for suppressing mutual diffusion to and from a mother magnetic material, occurrence of breaking, peeling, deformation or the like at the bonding portions, and diffusion into internal conductors, in particular, into Ag. SOLUTION: The electronic component comprises a magnetic-material member composed of an iron-based-oxide magnetic-material composition, non-magnetic-material members composed of a glass-ceramic composite composition and formed in contact with the magnetic-material member, and internal-conductor members formed in at least either one of the magnetic-material member or the non-magnetic-material members, wherein the glass-ceramic composite composition is composed of a crystallized glass as the main component and quartz as the filler of a sub-component. The content of the quartz is 5 wt.% to 30 wt.% in the crystallized glass of 100 wt.%. The quartz is dispersed in the glass of the crystallized glass. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
