PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehiclar footrest device easily mounted in a vehicle with a simple structure, which is capable of reducing a load on occupant's ankles in case of an accident such as head-on collision. SOLUTION: The footrest device is positioned on the cabin side in the lower part of a dash panel 8 demarcating an engine room from the cabin in the vehicle, and is provided with a bracket 16 securing a space 19 relative to the dash panel 8, an insertion hole 32 formed by penetrating the bracket 16 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle to be communicated with the space 19, a footrest main body 34 placed on the cabin side surface of the bracket 16, and a stud 44 integrally protruding from the footrest main body 34 and removably passing through the insertion hole 32 to enter the space 19 with its front end positioned to be in contact with or adjacent to the dash panel 8.
