PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce heat radiation time in a construction method of the road expansion joint including a process filling the inside of an expansion joint construction recess section formed in a joint of the road with heated aggregate and a process combining the aggregate with an inner wall surface of the recess section by injecting heated binder. SOLUTION: A block piece formed by connecting aggregate to each other with the binder in advance are laid in the recess section, and after a space between the block piece and the recess section of a wall and on the block have been filled with the heated aggregate, the heated binder is injected.
