PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system whereby information for designating a particular district and a particular date and time can be acquired in a form of image and audio data and proper information with high quality can timely, easily, quickly, and surely be acquired. SOLUTION: The information providing system is configured to include an information request terminal 10, an information providing terminal 20, and an information providing server 30 interconnected via networks 50, 60, and the information providing server 30 is provided with: a means for receiving information request data designating a particular date and time and a particular district transmitted from the information request terminal 10; a means for transmitting the received information request data to the information providing terminal resident within a prescribed zone from the particular district designated by the information request data within a prescribed time from the particular date and time designated by the information request data; a means for receiving provided information data returned from the information providing terminal, a means for storing the received provided information; and a means for transmitting the stored provided information data to the information request terminal.
