PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an optical reflecting mirror constituted so as to enhance the precision of a mirror surface having a complicated curved surface shape used in a projector or the like. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical reflecting mirror 10 by injection-molding a plastic material in the cavity 8 of a mold 1, an upper surface molding mold 2 and a rear surface molding mold 3 for molding a curved surface part in the surface shape becoming the mirror surface 11 of the optical reflecting mirror are prepared and, after the shrinkages and deformations of the upper and rear surfaces of a molded product when the rear surface shape of the optical reflecting mirror is formed into a flat plate shape are measured, the height quantity almost same to the linear shrinkage and deformation quantities of the molded product in the direction from the molding surface of the upper surface molding mold toward the rear surface of the molded product, that is, in the thickness direction of the molded product is added to the corresponding molding surface of the rear surface molding mold to process the rear surface molding mold so as to protrude the same. The processing of the rear surface molding mold is repeated until the shrinkage and deformation quantities of the whole surface of the molded product molded using the processed rear surface molding mold to obtain the optical reflecting mirror having a highly precise mirror surface.
