<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the abnormal sound of an upper guide member and the irregularity of a transfer image in the case of image formation, and to easily remove a transfer material remaining on a transfer material guide path in the case of a paper jamming, etc. SOLUTION: The base end part 21a of the upper guide member 21 is supported by an image forming device main body so that it can freely rock. When the member 21 is on a guide position side from a specified position where the tension direction of the member 21 by a tension spring 31 passes through the part 21a while a prescribed position is defined as a reference, the spring 31 presses the member 21 toward a guide position shown by (b). Thus, when a cardboard passes through the transfer material guide path M between a lower guide member 30 and the member 21, the member 21 is prevented from rocking, and the abnormal sound and the image irregularity caused by the rocking are prevented.
