PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant combination expressing an excellent flame retardancy in various classification of flame retardancy even using a small amount in a proper synthetic polymer especially with thermoplastic polymer. SOLUTION: The flame retardant combination contains a specific phosphinate and/or a specific diphosphinate and/or their polymer as component A and at least one halogen-containing component as a multiplication component.
