PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting coating composition which has good storage stability and forms a coating film excellent in processability and adhesion to a raw material using a polyester resin. SOLUTION: The thermosetting coating composition comprises 100 pts. wt. of a polyester resin (A) having a hydroxyl value of 0.5-50 mgKOH/g which contains 5-80 mgKOH/g, in terms of the acid value, of a carboxy group and 0.03-0.9 mmol/g of a polymerizable unsaturated group and 1-50 pts. wt. of a resol-type phenolic resin (B).
