PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved copy holding frame in a facsimile machine. SOLUTION: In a facsimile machine (31), the copy holding frame (64) for receiving a sheet, which is in a printing process, above a collection station (40, 63) for collecting printed sheets is provided with two side pieces (66, 67) serving as fins configured to be approximately parallel in use so as to support side edges of a sheet which is in a printing process, a pair of arms (203-204, 206-207) provided at each of the side pieces, and arm joining means (203, 206, 168, 208, 209). Each pair of the arms is rotatably connected to a corresponding side piece by one end thereof, and the other end is rotatable around an approximately perpendicular shaft (218-219, 221-222) so as to form a parallelogram together with the corresponding side piece.
