PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing processor capable of finishing a stable printed material with high quality by preventing erroneous detection of a cut mark as much as possible. SOLUTION: A controller controls operations of a conveyance device and a cutting unit based on a detected result of a cut mark detector. The controller comprises a measuring function for measuring a distance between the cut marks according to the detected result of the cut mark detector and the driving of the conveyance device, a cut mark detection position controlling function that allows a detecting means to perform the next detection by referencing the distance between the cut marks measured by the measuring function when the distance between the cut marks is different from a preset distance, and a detection result selecting function which is adapted to select, as the cut mark detection position, the detected result detected at a distance nearest to the distance determined by the cut mark detection position controlling function in the plurality of detected results detected by the cut mark detector.
