PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner with improved usability without unnecessarily increasing the weight at the time of using. SOLUTION: In the vacuum cleaner, a battery part 3 for feeding electric power to a motor part is detachably mounted on a body case 2, and an AC power supply part 4 for feeding electric power from a commercial outlet to the motor part is separately provided on the body case 2 detachably. Either the battery part 3 or the AC power supply part 4 is selectively mounted on the body case 2 to be used. Accordingly, the weight of the vacuum cleaner is not unnecessarily increased, so that handling of the vacuum cleaner becomes easier and the usability is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
