PURPOSE: A moving image synthesizing device for communicating with a karaoke system and a method therefor are provided to transmit/receive information on a song such as rhythm information, the title and number of the song, etc, and to use the third microcomputer which automatically controls synthesized tempos of cameras and a DVD image, thereby displaying synthesized background images on a monitor. CONSTITUTION: The first microcomputer(110) controls video signals to adjust video synchronous signals inputted in master line to video synchronous signals inputted in slave line. The second microcomputer(120) performs data communication for images corresponding to music tempos of the first microcomputer(110) with music tempos of a song sung by a user. The third microcomputer(130) transceives information on the corresponding song in connection with the second microcomputer(120), and automatically controls synthesized tempos of cameras(141-14n) and a DVD image(10). A video synthetic unit(300) synthesizes the video signals under control of the third microcomputer(130), and outputs the first and second images. A karaoke machine(200) has a start button and an end button for RS232 data communication with the second microcomputer(120).
