<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp with a reflector not scattering fragments outside the reflector even if the lamp is ruptured, small in the number of parts and easy in assembling. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp has a light emitting tube surrounded by the reflector, lights reflected from the reflector are radiated from front glass disposed at a front opening of the reflector, and the reflector is directly formed with ventilation holes possible to passing through the fragments of the light emitting tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
