<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of performing the inventry management of a consumable material unit set composed of a plularity of the same type consumable material units. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a consumable material unit 10 that incorporates consumable materials used for the image forming apparatus 20, is integrally replaceable, and has an RFID memory 22 storing data on the consumable materials. The consumable material unit 10 is one of a consumable material unit set TS composed of the same type of consumable material units 10A , 10B, and 10C.
