<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate triiron tetroxide contained in a liquid by magnetizing the triiron tetroxide at the preceding step to supply the liquid to a separation tank. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid W containing powdery triiron tetroxide F is supplied to the separation tank 4 and fluidized on the surface of a nonmagnetic plate 5 disposed in the tank 4 so that the triiron tetroxide F is attracted on the surface of the plate 5 and moved to the discharge direction by the magnetic attraction force of a magnetic conveyer 6 arranged on the back of the plate 5. Otherwise, the liquid W containing the triiron tetroxide F is jetted toward a magnetic flux radiating surface 2A from the surface of which a magnetic flux is radiated toward the outside so that the triiron tetroxide F is magnetized by the magnetic flux radiated from the surface 2A and the magnetized triiron tetroxide F is attracted on the surface of the plate 5, moved to the discharge direction and separated from the liquid W by the magnetic force of the conveyer 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
