PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce processing load of a computer converting a data representation system in an environment where computers adopting different data representation systems are mixed. SOLUTION: In this network system, the computers 1A-1N are connected through a communication line 12. Each computer 1A is provided with an operation processing means 14, a storage means 20 storing a list of the data representation systems, a judging means 24 judging the data representation system of other computers, a comparison means 26 and a conversion means 28. The comparison means 26 transmits receive data to the operation processing means as it is when the data representation system of the receive data and own data representation system coincide and transmits the received data to the conversion means when different.
