PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the miniaturization and reliability enhancement of a lens driving mechanism. SOLUTION: A lens driving mechanism 1 is provided with: a rotating cam 4 connected to cam pins CP1 and CP2 for driving the lens L; a rotor 3 directly attached to the rotating cam 4; and a stator 5 which have a plurality of coils 51 arranged facing a plurality of poles of magnets M arranged on the circumferential edge of the rotor 3. Alternatively, the mechanism 1 is provided with the rotating cam 4 connected to the cam pins CP1 and CP2 for driving the lens L, the rotor 3 directly attached to the rotating cam 4 and a stator which have a plurality of coils arranged facing a plurality of magnets arranged toward the rotating center on the circumferential edge of the rotor 3.
