PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car allowing the installation of a car support device without reducing height of a car main body and increasing overhead dimension. SOLUTION: This elevator car 10 is provided with the car main body 1, a car frame 3 supporting the car main body 1, and an upper beam 2 connected with the car frame 3 and arranged above the car main body 1. A sheave support beam 5 is connected with a lower face of the upper beam 2, and car side sheaves 4, 4 are attached to both end parts of the sheave support beam 5. A door opening and closing mechanism support arm 6 is connected with the car frame 3, and a car support device 7 is provided on the door opening and closing mechanism support arm 6. The car support device 7 has a vibration isolation member 7a connected with the door opening and closing mechanism support arm 6 and an upper face 1a of the car main body 1.
