PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzing sample container capable of easily obtaining high detection sensitivity even with respect to a very small amount of a component, and to provide an analyzer and an analyzing method. SOLUTION: The analyzing sample container is equipped with a well 12 for housing a liquid sample 15 containing a component to be detected and showing a phase separation phenomenon due to specific gravity difference. The well 12 includes a first region 13 and the second region 14 adjacent to the first region 13 along a vertical direction and having a horizontal cross section smaller than that of the first region 13. Accordingly, the thickness of the liquid sample 15 in the vertical direction can be made large as compared with a case that the horizontal cross section of the second region 14 is equal to that of the first region 13 and, at the time of spectral analysis, the length (light path length) in the vertical direction of the component to be detected irradiated with a measuring luminous flux 70 can be made large and high-sensitivity detection becomes possible.
