PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-tube heat exchanger having high heat exchange rate with use of two fluids, which is easily manufacturable and connectable with equipment to incorporate the heat exchanger therein, and being adapted to prevent the two fluids from being mixed, and to easily detect the leakage. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is characterised by being constituted of an inner cylinder consisting of at least two or more small-diameter tubes, or an inner cylinder consisting of at least two or more twisted small-diameter tubes, a middle cylinder provided at the outer side thereof to fit the form of the inner cylinder, and an outer cylinder provided at the outer side of the middle cylinder.
